FRED™ CA CAPTURE ARMS & BLOWERS

Diversi-Tech's FRED™ CA Capture Arms are designed for permanent installation to provide local removal of fumes and smoke. The units provide an efficient alternative to expensive general ventilation and remove contaminants before they become general problems.

The CA systems consist of a choice of pick-up hoods, flexible hoses and mounting bases tailored to meet the diverse needs of industry. The total unit is referred to as Source Capture Arm Assembly.

How the Capture Arm Works:

The extraction arm is designed to remove smoke, dust and gases at source. The contamination can be exhausted or sent to a filtration unit. The standard extraction arm consists of a cast iron rotational supporting head, two steel segments, flexible pipe fittings, stiffening sections of aluminum terminated in the frictional articulations and the gas spring for balancing of an arm weight.
